Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05

Impossible Business Solutions ("IBS," "we," "us," or "our") operates the businessofpossible.com website and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Account information: When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a password you choose. Paid members also provide billing information processed by PayPal; we do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Usage data: We log which features you use (courses, simulator, reflections) and how long you spend in each session so we can improve the product and enforce tier limits. Device data: Our server automatically receives your IP address, browser type, and referring URL with each request.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to: (a) operate and maintain your account and membership; (b) process payments and send receipts; (c) deliver personalized coaching and AI-assisted feedback within the simulator and course reflections; (d) send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, payment confirmations); (e) monitor usage to enforce fair-use limits; and (f) improve the service through aggregate, anonymized analytics.

3. AI-generated content

Some features send your responses to a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) to generate personalized coaching feedback. Only the specific text you submit (reflection answers, simulator decisions) is sent; your name, email, and payment details are never included in AI requests. AI-generated output is not reviewed by a human before it is shown to you.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. If you disable cookies, you will not be able to log in.

5. Information sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with: (a) PayPal, to process subscription payments; (b) OpenAI, to generate coaching feedback (limited to submitted text, as described above); (c) our hosting provider (Fly.io), which processes requests on our behalf; and (d) law enforcement, if required by a valid legal process.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your membership, your account remains in the system at the Free tier. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We protect your data with HTTPS encryption in transit, bcrypt-hashed passwords, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You may update your name or email from your account page at any time. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or request deletion, by emailing us. California residents and EU/UK residents may have additional rights under the CCPA or GDPR respectively; contact us to exercise them.

9. Children

IBS is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify active members by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
